Quick Facts

  • BJJ Black Belt
  • Training since 2003
  • Renzo Gracie Weston lineage
  • Women's program advocate

Professor Abby Bradley began her jiu-jitsu journey in 2003 at Tiger Academy of Martial Arts in Alpharetta, Georgia. After relocating to South Florida, she continued her training at Renzo Gracie Weston, taking time to raise her two children before returning to training full time. She recently relocated to Tennessee with her family.

Abby's path into teaching was shaped by an experience she has never forgotten. In 2005, a school in Florida refused to let her train in regular classes because she was a woman. That moment cemented her belief that jiu-jitsu is for everyone, and she has carried that conviction into every class she leads ever since.

She now leads Legion's Women's Jiu-Jitsu program with a mission to empower women through self-defense and physical confidence. She loves jiu-jitsu for sport and self-defense alike, and believes the mat is one of the most effective places to become a better version of yourself.
