Professor Anthony Pascarella

Professor Anthony Pascarella is an active-duty Army Soldier originally from Coconut Creek, FL. He began training Jiu-Jitsu in 2017 at what was then UFC Gym Hendersonville, which later became Legion Jiu Jitsu under Professor Gabriel. Having spent much of his career deployed, Anthony found in jiu-jitsu the same sense of belonging and daily challenge that he had found in military service.

Anthony holds a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach certification through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has completed Distinctive Honor Graduate courses in both the Army's Advanced and Senior Leadership programs, and led through 18 months of combat with the men he served alongside.

As an instructor, Anthony focuses on the details that make jiu-jitsu click. He was fortunate to have excellent coaches who taught him what they wished they'd known at his level, and he is committed to continuing that cycle for every student he trains. Outside the gym, his greatest pride is his family: his wife Stefa and their two children, Kevin and Cassidy.

Accomplishments: Multiple IBJJF Open Championships, 1-0 Professional Grappling Record, Purple Belt.
